The UK's Loyalty Points Community

Beauty loyalty cards compared: The Perfume Shop, Debenhams, Holland & Barrett, Boots and Superdrug

Rules checked 6 Oct 2026 to 8 Oct 2026 · How we verify

Each of these cards earns only at its own shop, so the best beauty loyalty card is the one for the shop you buy from. What differs is how much each gives back, what you get on your birthday, how long points last, and which bonus offers are running.

At usual rates, The Perfume Club gives the most back: 5p (5%) at The Perfume Shop. Superdrug Health & Beautycard gives the least, 1p (1%), though bonus offers and points events can multiply it.

Beauty loyalty cards FAQ

Which beauty loyalty card gives the most back?

At usual rates, The Perfume Club at The Perfume Shop: 1 point per £1, with each point worth 5p, so 5p (5%) back. Debenhams Beauty Club matches it at its top tier. Then Holland & Barrett at 4p, Boots at 3p and Superdrug at 1p in every £1. Each card earns only at its own shop, so the best one is the card for the shop you buy from.

Which beauty loyalty cards give a birthday treat?

The Perfume Club: 15% off your first transaction in your birthday month, once, with a date of birth on your account. Debenhams Beauty Club: a 10%, 15% or 20% birthday discount on one transaction, by tier. H&B&Me: a free product from a short list, with no purchase needed, collected in a UK or Irish store within 14 days of your birthday. For Boots and Superdrug, the scheme’s own pages mention no birthday reward. Birthday rewards are discounts or gifts, not points.

Which beauty loyalty schemes run double or triple points events?

Boots and Superdrug. At Boots, double points is 6 points per £1 and triple points 9 points per £1, so 9p back in every £1 while it runs. At Superdrug, double points is 2 points per £1 and triple points 3 points per £1, so 3p back in every £1 while it runs. Neither publishes a calendar of events, so we list each one on the scheme’s page while it runs.

Every rate, birthday reward and expiry rule was read on the scheme’s own website or in its terms, on the date shown. Every UK scheme we cover is compared in our loyalty points value index and points expiry rules.
