UK loyalty points offers, checked at source

Use CardPoints in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants

Ask an AI assistant about a UK loyalty scheme and it can answer from CardPoints: the same offers, the same figures and the same order as this site. It is free, and there is no account to create.

How to connect

CardPoints works as an MCP server, the standard AI assistants use to call outside tools. Its address is:

https://www.cardpoints.co.uk/api/mcp

  • Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, choose to add a custom connector, and paste the address above.
  • ChatGPT: add CardPoints from ChatGPT’s directory once it is listed there. Until then, ChatGPT accepts a connector by address only in developer mode, which you can turn on in its settings.
  • Other assistants and tools: any that support MCP over Streamable HTTP can use the address directly.

What you can ask

The assistant gets three tools from us.

  • A scheme’s points and offers. Name a scheme, or the brand that runs it, and it returns what its points are worth, the usual earning rate and when points expire, then the bonus points offers running now and the always-on ways to earn, each with the date we last checked it.
  • Points at a shop. Name a shop or brand and it returns every scheme we cover that earns points there, with the offers running there now.
  • Points value ranking. Every scheme we cover, ranked by what its usual rate gives back per £1, as in our points value index.

Things to try: “What are Boots Advantage Card points worth, and is there a points event on?”, “Can I collect points at Argos?”, “Which UK loyalty card gives the most back per £1?”

The same rules as this site

  • Every offer we have checked, in our usual order. Time-limited bonus offers come first, then the always-on ways to earn, whether or not the brand pays us. Commission never decides what is listed or the order; see how we make money.
  • Every link is ours. Answers link to our own pages, and a link to a brand goes through the same CardPoints link as on our pages. Some brands pay us a commission if you buy that way, at no cost to you, and each answer says so.
  • Figures are dated. Every offer shows when we last checked it at the brand’s or scheme’s own site, and every scheme when its facts were read. Confirm the terms there before you shop.
  • Read only. The tools look things up. They cannot join a scheme, buy anything or change anything.

Your data

The assistant sends us only what a tool needs, the name of a scheme or a shop, and we keep nothing. The privacy policy has the detail.
