How We Find & Verify Offers

Where offers come from

Bonus points promotions are announced by retailers through email newsletters, loyalty apps and their affiliate networks. We collect them from those official sources and add each one to CardPoints by hand, as we have since 2016. We don’t guess at offers or recycle rumours — if a promotion is listed here, the retailer announced it.

How often offers are updated

Offers are checked and updated daily. Every promotion in our system carries the date it was added and the date it expires, and those dates drive the site: when an offer reaches its expiry date it is removed from the live listings automatically, and recently expired offers are shown clearly marked as expired, never passed off as live. The “Last updated” date on each scheme page reflects the most recent offer actually added — it comes from real data, never a fake timestamp.

How we make money

When you click through to a retailer and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. This never affects the points you collect or the price you pay, and it never affects which offers we list. All outbound retailer links are marked as sponsored.
